Great Response from Sacred Heart Parish in Suffield, CT
We have been home a month now and Dad has been spending lots of time telling his story. His efforts coincided with a need for a new mission outreach at Sacred Heart Parish in Suffield, CT. Father Jette spent lots of time getting to know my Dad and learning about the needs in Sumbawanga. He went so far as to include Sumbawanga as a special second collection at today's mass on Mission Sunday. As we go to press with this post, Father Jette, and the incredibly generous parishoners at Sacred Heart have raised over $8,000 for Sumbawanga and the campaign is still open.
